AP I’m applying for the post of SHO doctor.
IR Have you filled in an application form?
AP Yes, I did it yesterday.

AP Hello.
IR Hello, I’m the human resources responsible of the Saint John Hospital, please take a seat.
AP Thank you.
IR An easy question first: please introduce yourself.
AP I’m the one you’re looking for.

AP I’ve the skills, qualification and motivation you need.
IR Let's talk about your studies first, why did you choose your course as your field of study?
AP I’ve always been interested in become a doctor and I like being able to do something that can help the others.
IR What's your graduation date?
AP I graduated this year.
IR Explain to us why you have applied for a position in our hospital.
AP I’m very interested in your company field.
IR What do you know about this hospital?
AP Your annual report is very impressive.
IR I see you have been working part-time. What were the benefits of your job?
AP I got lots of experience, new skills and friends.
IR Let's talk about your self-awareness. What weaknesses do you have?
AP As a student, I lack experience, but I’m willing to learn.
IR What qualities do you think will be required for this job?
AP As a SHO doctor, I believe that I will need to be humble, motivated and open-minded.
IR What do your parents do for a living?
AP My father is an economy teacher and my mother works in an office.
IR What do you think of your last boss/employer?
AP This is my first full time job, but I’ve already work in some part-time jobs, my last boss was really easy to deal with, and he really knew how to treat everyone equally and he had a great leadership personality.
IR In your opinion, what are your strengths?
AP Besides my graduation, I’m a very committed person, when I want something I do my best to get it. I’m also very patient and I know how to deal with all kinds of people.
IR How do you handle tension/stress?
AP I handle tension and stress very well, I chose to become a doctor, so I’m often under stress.
IR How do you balance work and family/social commitments?
AP I’m not married and I don’t have kids. Since I moved to England I’m living with my best friend, who’s the only close friend I’ve near me so it’s easy to me balance family and social commitments.
IR What type of people do you get on with most/least?
AP I get on with everybody, as a doctor I need to know how to treat everyone nicely and patiently.
IR How do you plan and organise your work?
AP I plan my work weeks ahead because I’m a very organized person,
IR Are you free to work after hours?
AP Yes, of course. I’m really flexible and I don’t have problems in working on the night shifts.
IR Before you go, why do you think we should choose you?
AP I’m the best choice to the position because of my motivation and interest in how to become a god doctor.
